Worship is a time to sing praises to God

What is Worship?

Why We Worship:

We begin our services with a time of worship through music. As followers of Christ, we believe that joining together in song to worship God is integral to having a relationship with Him. For all that God has done for us and in us, He is deserving of all of our praise. "...addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart" (Ephesians 5:19)

It's More Than Just Music:

Beyond the music you hear on Sunday mornings, worshiping God involves a person's entire life. The music we sing is a display of our hearts' desire to exalt God. Worshiping God occurs outside the walls of the church and outside the melodies of our music. "But the hour is coming and is now here, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth..." (John 4:23)

Worship is a Lifestyle:

We offer our lives to God because of who He is and the sacrifice He made through Jesus on our behalf. Jesus lived a perfect life and died for us, so that we can know God and be welcomed home to a relationship with Him. "I appeal to you therefore, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to God, which is your spiritual act of worship." (Romans 12:1)
